SMD Thermistor Flexible Circuit

The NTC SMD Thermistor Sensor is soldered to a twin track Flexible Circuit. The SMD is then encapsulated with a black Stycast 2850 ft epoxy.A Berg Connector is attached to the opposite end of the Flexible Circuit.

Reliability Testing

Betatherm have carried out thermal cycling, hot storage and cold storage tests on the Thermistor assembly. The thermal cycle testing was carried out in a temperature cycling chamber, completing 10 minutes at -40°C and 10 minutes at 100°C for 1000 Hrs. The hot storage test was carried out in a hot air circulating oven at 100°C for 1,000 hrs and cold storage test in a refrigeration chamber at -40oC for 1,000 hrs.
