Sensors contained in a consistently sized vinyl cap with 2-core ribbon cable lead wires are widely used in medical applications. Standard connector types are ften used to connect these sensors to monitoring equipment. BetaTHERM's Vinyl Cap NTC thermistor probes can be supplied with standard connector types. They are suitable for patient temperature monitoring in
catheter products, or for general temperature sensing in medical environments.
The standard product uses a 400 Series compatible thermistor element, 30 AWG lead wires and a Molex-style connector. Custom configurations and connector types can be implemented also.
